First on the "Post"

As a way to share paintings, stories and the love of the brushes, I'm starting this blog....that really is such a strange word! BUT, on to the oils :)

About Me

My love of art and architecture has been a passion since childhood. I have enjoyed painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. Art history studies took me from SMU to The University of Texas, where I met my sweetheart, Ray Moore. We were married and added to the Texas population by three.

I put the paints down for a number of years as the busy-ness of running a home took over. Although, I was known to help with a fun school project or two!

Over the years Ray and I, sometimes with kids in tow, shared many adventures of scooter riding in the mountains of Colorado, winding down the roads of Alaska (after we retired!) and scouting out every back road in the hill country of Texas.

Now, I have set up the easels again, the brushes are revealing some of the many vistas we traveled, with many more to come!
